I love a challenge, I love learning new things, and I love turning chaos into structure.
In college I studied writing, graphic design, and organizational communication. These three disciplines taught me how people work together, and how to explain things, both verbally and visually, so they actually make sense. Then I spent years building websites one-on-one with clients before going deep into customer operations and program management.
Product ownership is where all of that finally comes together. I take competing needs, fuzzy ownership, and five different versions of the truth, and turn them into something a team can follow. And I'm always thinking about the customer on the other end. If they need another help article to figure it out, I'm not done yet.
If I have to solve the same problem twice, I start wondering how to make sure nobody has to solve it a third time. That's my favorite kind of challenge.
